About Deanna.
Please feel free to call me “Dee” if you’re comfortable!
Hi, I’m Deanna!
Hey there! I’m Dee, and I opened “Little Bird Tattoo Studio” on July 1st, 2023. I started my tattoo apprenticeship back in 2020 after going to art school at Northern Illinois University, and very quickly found myself drawn to black and gray illustrative tattoo projects.
I tend to fill my portfolio with organic subject matter including (but not limited to) flowers, bugs, birds, bones, plants, and animals.
Over the years I’ve became much more introverted than I used to be, but I do still come from a customer service background. If you schedule an appointment with me, you can expect me to be casually chatty in an effort to get to know you. Please don’t hesitate to tell me if you’d like a quiet session!
Tattooing is not a pain-free experience, and it’s my goal to make you as comfortable as possible. This is a safe and respectful space for all adults, regardless of the color of your skin, gender identity, political affiliation, or sexual orientation. Oftentimes, tattoo appointments become “therapy sessions”, and I’m here to help by being trauma-informed.
